CBRE is the sole advisor on the GMPVF portfolio and is responsible for all aspects of the investment and management strategy, from initial acquisition through to disposal of completed developments.
Investment comprises both debt and equity with development activity being undertaken by investment and development partners. We routinely work with private sector developers as well as partaking in strategic partnerships with central government, local government and Homes England to address long term regional priorities.
GMPVF has a clear focus on housing delivery alongside its investment in commercial property.
The allocation has been in place since 1992 and investment can be recycled in order to maximise regeneration outputs and financial returns through repeated investment across the region. Current and target investments span all property sectors.
Social value outputs and ESG attributes form a consistent reference point in the evaluation of new investment opportunities and their ongoing management.
